Please note, as stated on your registration — Your initial deposit is used to secure your accommodations, transportation, guides, and internal flights. Therefore, your initial deposit is non-refundable, unless someone takes your space minus a $300.00 fee
If your payment is not in our office by the due date, a $45.00 fee will be added to the final total. The tour company in Africa requires the money by a certain date, and the wire will be sent at that time. The charge is for the wire cost to send your late payment.
Cancellation Policy
120 – 80 days = No refund of deposit unless you can find someone to take your place
80 – 61 days = 100% forfeited unless you find someone to take your place
Acceptable Payment Methods
We will accept checks, wires and Zelle. We do not take credit cards. If you are wiring the payment, a $16.00 charge is added to each wire you send. That is what my bank charges me to accept the wire.
Travel Medical Insurance
Travel medical insurance is REQUIRED to attend a Wild Compass Tours safari, or Tour. If you are registered on an international safari, tour, or workshop you are required to have international emergency medical insurance with coverage of a minimum of $100,000 that includes emergency evacuation.

We reserve the right to decline your deposit if we feel you aren’t able to meet the physical requirements of the trip.
Guest Conduct
Each guest will conduct themselves in an adult and civil manner to not only me, but my other guests and my guides. I have no tolerance for toxic and rude behavior. You have come on the tour to learn, not to teach/argue or try to override me. This, and other discourteous behavior will result in a verbal warning from me, if this behavior continues , you will be released immediately from the tour, with no refund.
And it will be your and only your responsibility to remove yourself from the group both physically and financially. This is also in my contract.
I work very hard to provide my guests with the best experiences and opportunities. The locations, guides and lodging is all part of the experience. If you can’t enjoy these type of experiences, please do not sign up.
Knowledge and Experience Expectations
For all photo tours, each guest will be expected to have good knowledge of their camera. We will be changing F stops, ISO and you will have to watch your shutter speeds. Depending on the tour, such as Africa, I may not be with you all the time. As I have to move people around in the jeeps that require help from me.
All deposits are nonrefundable, and balances are due 8 to 4 months out depending on the tour. Please review the payments due on each tour under the terms and conditions.
When one signs up for my tour, they are testifying that they are, in good health, and physically able to participate on the chose tour, Each tour has different fitness, please check the website.
Any physical disabilities must be disclosed at the time of signing up. Please read the website page of the tour you wish to attend so you understand what is expected.
