About the Tour

This is a photographic tour and not a workshop, you will need to have some working knowledge of your camera. The action goes down fast and even though I am helping with the settings, you have to know where things are on your camera.

An Itinerary Glimpse

All tour guests will fly into Johannesburg and stay for the night. Next morning, your adventure begins as you fly to Botswana.

Morning 1 you will arrive in Kasane and be taken to lodge. After checking in, you will get ready for afternoon private boat ride along Chobe River. Cruise the river in search of hippo, elephants, crocs and a multitude of bird life, plus more! Others have a 3 hour ride, we get 4 hours in the afternoon on the water!! Relax in the evening at the gourmet buffet!

Morning 2 you’ll enjoy a private 3 hour boat ride on the water. Back for lunch, then an afternoon private boat ride down Chobe river for 4 hours, more wildlife spotting, other possible sightings include, fish eagles, kudu, buffalo, and possibly big cats. Come back to the lodge to refresh and then we are off for a private boat dinner cruise!!

Morning 3 take a private boat ride, enjoy the wildlife in the water and watching to see who comes down to drink. A break for lunch, then gear up for a 4 hour private boat cruise photographing wildlife.

Morning 4 we’ll take a 3 hour private boat cruise, then back to the lodge, pack and prepare to fly to your next camp for a new adventure. Fly out to to your small and uncrowded camp the Okavango Delta. Arrive at the camp, drop your luggage, have some tea and brunch and head out in a private game drive, at an eco friendly camp in a private concession in the the heart of the Okavango Delta. Then back to the lodge for dinner, then settle by the camp fire before retiring to bed.

Wake up with hot tea or coffee brought to your room. A quick breakfast before embarking on a game drive, will be the choice of the morning. Back for lunch and relaxing. Afternoon tea will be followed by a game drive in our private jeep. Sun downers are spectacular out there.

Mid day – Fly to the newly opened camp located in deep in the Okavango Delta, set on the southeastern side of Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana, overlooking the Gomoti River and its floodplains,After unpacking and a quick lunch, we head out for a private afternoon game drive. Then back to the camp for dinner. This is your home for the next 4 nights.

Early morning wake up call with coffee or tea/a quick breakfast and out with cameras loaded for a morning game drive in our private jeep. Back for lunch, then an afternoon game drive up until time for dinner.

We head out before sunrise for a private morning game drive, and arrive back at camp for brunch. A few hours rest, then out we go again to maximize our photography time.

In the morning, up again before sunrise and head out for an early morning game drive. We will game drive until the plane comes. We will head back to Maun, then Johannesburg. The tour is now over. If you wish to stay more nights in Jo’berg, please make reservations.

Important Note

Your fitness level should be that you can carry you own camera gear and be able to walk to your room or tent. You should be able to walk short distances with your gear on as well and get in and out of the jeeps and boats. You will have to climb up in the jeeps, a good balance and arm strength is required. I do talk and evaluate each guest before approving, as this is for photographers.

Important Information

Deposit

A deposit of $2,500 is required to hold your spot. Please review our Terms & Conditions before inquiring about a reservation. Please note: We reserve the right to decline your deposit if we feel you aren’t able to meet the physical requirements of the trip.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

Either proof of COVID-19 vaccination has to be shown or a negative PCR test 72 hours before departure is required for each guest. Failure to do this will result in termination of the trip for that guest.

Safety Information

Our group will always have someone with us at all times. At no time will you be left on your own. All foods prepared by the lodges will be safe for you to eat. Travel insurance must be purchased before your travel date.

Luggage

There is a strict luggage allowance on the internal flights, if you bring too much luggage and gear, you will have to pay for an additional seat on the plane. We will advise you how to pack.

All shared accommodations, no singles.All jeeps and boats are private, just our group.
